A new 3 day festival of running and cycling based around iconic Loch Ness on the new LochNess360ﹾ trail developed by linking the Great Glen Way on the north side of Loch Ness with the South Loch Ness Trail.
Test your stamina and strength with these running and cycling events in Scotland, Loch Ness. There is no better place to take on the challenge of a lifetime than in the beautiful, rugged and wild surrounds of iconic Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands.
The LochNess360ﹾ Challenge is a new three-day running or cycling event in Scotland happening between Friday 29th – Sunday 31st May 2020. It’s 129 km and over 3000 m of ascent, with breathtaking views – what more could you ask for? This is the inaugural year for the Loch Ness 360ﹾ Challenge. Following the Loch Ness 360ﹾ trail along the Great Glen Way and South Loch Ness Trail around Loch Ness, this is a challenge with a view that you’ll never forget.
The 3 days, 3 marathons challenge happens on the 29th, 30th and 31st May 2020. Run one, two or all three marathons over the weekend. The ultra marathon on the 30th May is 80 miles of running over 24 hours around Loch Ness. Then there’s the mountain bike challenge, covering 80 miles in just 14 hours.
The Glenmoriston is ideally situated close to the start of the Great Glen Way and the South Loch Ness trail, and the starting point of the challenge at Dores. Luxury 4-star accommodation on the banks of the River Ness, enjoy a well-deserved rest after your challenge, or 'carb-up' before the event at the wonderful Contrast Brasserie.
